Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park – Unsullied Ecstasy

Yes, NILGIRI BIOSPHERE NATURE PARK, one of the less popular trekking spots and a place that’s unconditionally rich in Flora and Fauna, is what I thought would need to take a place in one of my blog posts. It’s quite perplexing as to where the park exactly lies. Many people think that it is in Kerala, but beyond doubt, it is within the limits of Tamil Nadu border & around 6-9 kilometers from the Anaikatti- Kerala ghat road... or simply where the two states (kerala & Tamil Nadu) get divided…

Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park is located in the Thuvaipathy, a village that holds an equal blend of tribes from Tamil nadu & kerala, being predominantly IRULAS… These tribes speak Kannada, Tamil & Malayalam. The village is subject to constant poaching & illegal activities because of the lush vegetation and a healthy elephant population… You will also find a school called “Vidya Vaanam” that is being operated to educate and refine the kids of Thuvaipathy.

To get here, it takes around 45 minutes from kanuvai, the tiny land of brick factories, will lesser habitation and fair amount of forests. I once saw the bus that routes to Thuvaipathy right from Coimbatore, but I am still unsure whether it is a regular take. Don’t worry; you get to enjoy an ideal means of transport, the jeep, the best companion to ghat roads right from Anaikatti…

Back to the park, possessing a simple history though; is a home to complicated blend of vegetation & vividly exceptional wildlife… It’s an excellent place for Bird watching serving a natural gift to ornithologists & wildlife explorers… For more than 20 years, the park has been successfully managed by the Coimbatore Zoological Park Society (CZPS).

“Housing 100 species of birds, 22 species- amphibians, 20 species- reptiles, 18 species- mammals, more than 300 invertebrates ( Source : http://www.nbnaturepark.com/)”.

The park presents a trip in the nature trail measuring roughly 2 kilometers… An ecstasy to trippers, the trail or the path runs deep into the park showcasing more than 50 % of the wildlife & plant species…The park also holds the credit of featuring 85 unique species of plants that are found nowhere in INDIA, however 30 % of it is in danger of extinction … I personally promise, you will definitely enjoy tripping to NBNP…

Alright!!!!! Not the old stuff anymore… I am writing this paragraph exclusively for trekkers and travel analysts.… We routed quite an unclear way from Thuvaipathy village to Narasipuram, which is the extreme west of Coimbatore that lies parallel to Velliangiri hills & siruvani... As logically, it’s the Western Ghats being the MOTHER of such nature marvels. Narasipuram is a home to the small cascade – The Vaidehi falls named after the Blockbuster Tamil Movie “Vaidehi Kaathirundhal” shot near the falls…

On balance, GOD created remarkably stunning nature that spreads evenly throughout the west of Coimbatore... NBNP is one of those; assuring a divinely arresting visit that you will cherish forever…

Here comes Conversational English again…Well, I personally feel English develops from practice alongside powerful vocabulary and the right language syntax...

Conversational patterns of English largely differ from the usual tenets of writing... That doesn’t mean you should get to employ practically rigorous guidelines while on talk… And again, Conversational English finely enriches only when sentences are simpler and take a vividly fathomable outline...However, writing could demand a tinge of complex sentence forms and an exigent language…

Grammar before Spoken English.

Yes, it is easy… Kick starting this unquestionably needs GRAMMAR… But wait; there are lots of Indian students putting a Big STOP to English classes the moment GRAMMAR is just spelled… Wonder Why?? Sounding difficult, native Indians start translating their language to English on Grammar being taught… Every trainer finds it quite difficult at the start to teach spoken English… Don’t worry & never drop your hopes… Give ample time such that it becomes a slot to analyze and understand... Another Important thing is that, Never Overdose classes with grammar… Make sure you teach no more than the enough grammar to talk correct English…

The first one sounds better with the slang... If you try replacing it with Keenly Attentive, it does sound kooky… It’s because you don’t have to be keenly attentive when someone’s telling you things about a murder... You can employ keenly Attentive if it is a conference or anything that’s sincerely official…

Example2:

Ross was wishy washy about his plans to move to Iowa as he wasn’t all that good at English

Ross was unclear about his plans to move to Iowa as he wasn’t all that good at English

Here, Wishy washy sounds plainly informal… Ross has plans to move to Iowa, with the reason that he isn’t fluent at English… When you’re talking to someone about this, however this being a sentence of importance, you should be using unclear replacing wishy washy...

Stop Translating!

A very serious problem that nags almost everyone who takes steps to talk perfect English is this Translation from the native language… It is indeed an issue that would curb you from talking neatly patterned sentences… Listen to a lot of Pure English speakers and its time you should stop memorizing idioms and synonyms to most used words… Alternatively, you can surf the thesaurus and make sure you listen how it is pronounced… Put a big end to using dual language dictionaries… Remember it’s a big caution… Translations cannot always prove right and may tend to destroy the beauty and uniqueness of a language…

Here are some usually spoken sentences that are ridiculously translated…

Example:

1. Wrong: I had breakfast in the morning itself

Right: I had my breakfast earlier this morning

2.Wrong: Why is she doing like this?

Right: What’s wrong with her?

3.Wrong: Please go and sit in your place

Right: Please go to your place

4.Wrong: They are also coming

Right: They are coming too

5.Wrong: Have your lunch soon

Right: Have your lunch on time

6.Wrong: She is going to go in the evening

Right: She will go in the evening

Besides, there are lots which most of the beginners use everyday…. Ensure you correct those as your learning process progresses by time…

Socialize confidently

Open your talk with an undaunted spirit… I am sure it won’t let you down… When you have that drive to talk, with a lot of mistakes though, you should realize that you’re in the developmental stage…You may take hell a lot of time to understand American or British English, but it’s worth listening and socializing… English is not like math or science that requires lot of research… All that English wont need is translation and everyday learning as what a schooling kid does… English enriches by listening, reading, and writing… It’s about creativity and innovation… Never get hurt if you are made fun of… Every success comes from a bitter experience… Loosen your worries and inhibitions and its time you start communicating with ease…

Purple Prose isn’t a technical term… It certainly denotes writing that’s overdosed with adverbs… pointless explanation and unnecessary use of words can potentially ruin everything … So its time you cut redundancies, write powerfully with enhanced decisiveness… If you keep using an adverb next to a noun or a verb all the time, possibly to elevate the meaning or to turn it stylish, it wouldn’t sound all that appealing to read… However, use of adverbs is acceptable within the grounds of trendy writing…

Example:

Your work is reasonably good and I am sure strategies are clearly fathomable

Modified:

Your work is fair and I am sure strategies are comprehensible

Reasonably good describes fair, good and decent. You don’t have to make it a big word like clearly fathomable, instead comprehensible fits really well…

Passives can eventually transform the content to less appealing and rarely hunted stuff. Nobody wants it more professional and bear in mind that you’re not into writing a thesis… Just writing a one on one user based content could get a lot more popular than what a conventional, largely passive article would.

If on passive, you won’t really love how it gets changed.

“Well, we weren’t given way by the lush vegetation near Keel Maanar and Mulli to walk deep down the forest… With all the natural aroma of tea from the estates around, wildlife and unseen plants were focused by my camera… From rarest species of birds to a small herb, everything was literally photographed by me… “

Not worthy of note because nothing plainly deals with YOU… It’s not straight, cleanly written; Funny enough; it does look like a grammar lesson on Passive…
